What does each row in the Live Website Audit mean?

The Live Website Audit · Updated September 23, 2026

The Live Website Audit section of a lead lists every check Legiit Leads ran on the business's real website. Green means the check passed, red means the check failed, and amber means something looked missing but is marked (unverified) because it could not be confirmed. Hover over a row to see the plain-English evidence behind it, where the audit recorded one.

The colours

  • Green: the check passed, or the tool was found on the site.
  • Red: the check failed. A missing tool reads Not found, or Not found (verified) once Google's own page load has confirmed it.
  • Amber: the check did not pass and the value ends in (unverified). The site may add that tool with JavaScript, so it is never pitched. See what verified, likely and unverified mean.

A row only appears when there is something to show. For example, Copyright year needs a year in the site's copyright notice, and Domain expires needs a date from the domain registry.

Reaching the website

  • Website: this row only appears when the site could not be checked. Unreachable means the site did not answer (why). Bot protection blocked the audit; nothing claimed means a security check answered instead of the site (why). None: Maps listing only means the Google listing has no website. In all three cases the website rows below do not appear.
  • SSL / HTTPS: Secure, or Missing: shows 'Not Secure'.
  • Load time: how many seconds the homepage took to start answering. Green under 3.5 seconds. See how load time is measured.

Tools on the site

These are looked for on every page the audit read.

  • Schema markup: Found or Missing. This is the structured data that tells Google what the business is.
  • Contact form: Found or Not found. See how the contact form check works.
  • Social links: the profiles found, such as facebook.com, instagram.com, or Not found. See how social links are found.
  • Analytics and Meta pixel: Installed or Not found.
  • Blog: Found when a blog or news section is linked, otherwise Not found.
  • Email capture, Online booking and Chat widget: Found or Not found. Chat widget counts live chat and AI chatbots. See how these tools are detected.

Homepage checks

  • Mobile viewport: Yes, Yes (Google verified) once Google's page load has confirmed it, or No viewport tag.
  • Title tag: OK, Weak (for example, it does not mention the service you searched for), Set by JavaScript (Google saw one), or Missing.
  • Meta description: Present, Present (set by JavaScript), or Missing.
  • H1 heading: OK when there is exactly 1, the count when there are several (such as 3 H1s), or Missing.
  • Image alt text: how many images have alt text, such as 9 of 12. It only appears when the homepage has 4 or more images, and it is green while fewer than half are missing alt text.
  • Homepage copy: the number of words on the homepage. Green at 200 words or more.

See how these are judged.

Context rows

  • Pages checked: exactly which pages were read, such as /, /contact, /about. It ends with + Google rendered load once Google's PageSpeed test has loaded the site. See which pages the audit checks.
  • Copyright year: the newest year in the site's copyright notice. Green when it is this year or last year.
  • AI-search ready: Partial/Yes when the site has an llms.txt file or schema markup, otherwise No (no llms.txt, no schema). See how llms.txt is checked.
  • Tech stack: up to 5 platforms and tools spotted in the homepage code, such as WordPress, Wix or Shopify. Red when it includes jQuery 1.x (2013-era), jQuery 2.x (outdated) or GoDaddy Builder.
  • Domain expires: the expiry date from the official domain registry and the days left, such as 2026-10-30 (38d). Green when more than 45 days remain. See Domain expiring soon and why the row can be missing.
  • Google PageSpeed: Google's official mobile score, such as 72/100 (official). Green at 60 or more. It appears once Google's test has run on the lead, either automatically after the search or when you click ⚡ Get Google's Official Score. See how to get the official score.
  • Google rank: the business's position in Google's normal results for your search, such as #4 organic, with + map pack added when it is also in the local map pack. Green in the top 10. When there is no position but map pack data exists, the row is Local map pack instead, reading In the pack or Not in the pack. See the rank badge and map pack.

Good to know

A red row does not always add a problem to the lead. Tech stack and Google PageSpeed are there for context, and the Outdated site problem needs a copyright year 3 or more years old. The problems you can pitch are the ones listed under Detected Problems.

A row that passed its check stays green even when its value ends in (unverified). Image alt text reading 9 of 12 (unverified) is green because fewer than half the images are missing alt text, and the note only says the count could not be confirmed. The same goes for Homepage copy at 200 words or more.
