How do I get Google's official PageSpeed score for a lead?

Google PageSpeed and Rankings · Updated September 22, 2026

Many leads get their score without you doing anything: after a search finishes, Legiit Leads runs Google's PageSpeed test in the background on up to 25 of its leads. For any lead that still has no score, open it and click ⚡ Get Google's Official Score in the Live Website Audit header. About 20 seconds later the audit shows a Google PageSpeed row with Google's score out of 100.

  • It starts once the search shows complete. It runs on leads whose website loaded, did not hit a bot-protection page, and still has at least one finding marked likely or unverified.
  • It checks up to 25 leads per search, 2 at a time. Each test takes about 20 seconds, so the last scores can land several minutes after the search shows complete.
  • The results page stops refreshing once the search is complete. Reload it to see scores that arrived afterwards.
  • Leads whose findings were all verified already are skipped, and so are lists added with Resurrect a List. If Google cannot test a site during this pass, that lead simply stays without a score. Use the button for any of these.

Steps

  1. Open the lead from your search results.
  2. Scroll to Live Website Audit. While the lead has no score, ⚡ Get Google's Official Score sits on the right of that heading.
  3. Click it. The button shows Asking Google… while Google tests the site, which takes about 20 seconds.
  4. When it finishes, a Google PageSpeed row appears in the audit, for example 47/100 (official).

What you get

  • The score. Google's mobile performance score from 0 to 100, from a real load of the website on a phone. The row is green at 60 or more and red below 60.
  • Main content load time. How long the main content took to appear in Google's phone test. It is not shown as its own row, but the AI can quote it, together with the score, when it writes emails and briefs for this lead.
  • A phone screenshot. When Google returns one, its final frame of the site on a phone is saved and shown on the lead's proof page under How Google's phone sees your site, next to the score.
  • Sharper findings. Google's page load also confirms or clears some audit findings. See Why did my audit findings change after PageSpeed ran?

If it does not work

  • There is no button. The button only shows while the lead has no score. Once a score exists, from the automatic check or an earlier click, the button is gone and the test cannot be run again from the lead. Leads without a website have no button, because there is nothing for Google to test.
  • The message starts Google's shared PageSpeed quota is busy. Google is limiting how many tests can run right now. You do not need to change anything: wait a while and click the button again.
  • Any other red message above the audit, such as one starting PageSpeed API error, means Google could not finish testing that site this time. The button stays, so you can try again later.

Good to know

  • Google PageSpeed is included on every plan, with no monthly limit.
  • The score stays as Google first measured it. When the checks re-run later, for example when someone opens the proof page, the saved score and screenshot are kept.
