Which pages of a website does the audit check?

The Live Website Audit · Updated September 22, 2026

The audit reads the lead's homepage plus up to 3 more pages it finds through the homepage's links on the same website: one contact page, one about page and one booking page. The Pages checked row in the lead's Live Website Audit lists exactly which pages were read, and the tool checks look across all of them.

How the extra pages are chosen

Legiit Leads looks at the links on the homepage that stay on the same website and takes the first one of each kind:

  • Contact: the link or its address mentions words such as contact, quote or estimate.
  • About: words such as about, our team or who we are.
  • Booking: words such as book, schedule, appointment or reserve.

If the homepage has no contact link, the audit also tries /contact and /contact-us, still reading no more than 3 extra pages. If none of the extra pages can be read, it tries up to 2 of the usual addresses it has not tried yet: /contact, /contact-us, /about and /about-us. Each extra page gets up to 8 seconds to answer.

Pages that are left out

An extra page is dropped, and not listed, when it:

  • fails to load or answers with an error,
  • shows a bot-protection page instead of its content,
  • loads normally but is really a "page not found" page, for example its address contains 404 or its title says page not found.

What is read on which pages

  • Every page read: Schema markup, Contact form, Social links, Analytics, Meta pixel, the Google Ads tag, Chat widget, Online booking, Email capture, the Blog link, and any email addresses on the site.
  • Homepage only: Title tag, Meta description, H1 heading, Image alt text, Homepage copy, Mobile viewport, Copyright year and Tech stack.

The llms.txt file behind AI-search ready is requested on its own and is not listed under Pages checked.

Reading the Pages checked row

  • It shows the page addresses that were read, such as /, /contact-us, /about.
  • It ends with + Google rendered load once Google's PageSpeed test has loaded the site in a real browser, either automatically after the search or when you click ⚡ Get Google's Official Score.
  • Hover over a Not found row such as Online booking or Contact form to see the pages it was looked for on, for example No online booking tool on 3 pages (/, /contact-us, /about).
  • When only one page is listed, the audit saw the homepage alone, so a missing tool or section is marked (unverified) and never pitched. See what verified, likely and unverified mean.

Good to know

A lead audited before this list was recorded has no Pages checked row. Legiit Leads audits it again, once, before the AI writes an email or a sequence from it.
