Why is there no Domain expires row on my lead?

The Live Website Audit · Updated September 23, 2026

The Domain expires row only appears when the audit reached the business's website and the domain's public registry returned an expiry date. If either step did not happen, the lead has no date and no row, because Legiit Leads never guesses one. Without a date, the lead cannot be flagged Domain expiring soon either.

Common reasons

  • No website. The lead has only a Google Maps listing, so the Live Website Audit shows Website as None: Maps listing only and nothing is looked up.
  • The site was unreachable. The Website row reads Unreachable. The audit stopped before the registry lookup. See Why does a lead's website show as Unreachable?
  • A bot-protection page answered. The Website row reads Bot protection blocked the audit; nothing claimed. The audit stops there, so no date is looked up. See Why does the audit say Bot protection blocked the audit?
  • The registry did not answer in time. The lookup waits up to 6 seconds. A slow or failed answer leaves the lead without a date.
  • The registry record had no expiry date. A date is saved only when the record includes one.

Can the row appear later?

Yes. Every fresh audit asks the registry again, for example when a prospect opens the lead's proof page. To ask again yourself, open the lead and click Preview in the Proof Page (public, white-label) section. That re-runs the audit (at most once every 10 minutes) and does not count as the prospect opening it. Older leads, audited before the current checks existed, are also re-audited once automatically before anything is written to the prospect: the first time you click ✦ Write With AI or ✦ Draft 3-Touch Sequence for them. If that audit gets a date, the row appears.
