What is Outreach Autopilot and what does it send on its own?
Outreach Autopilot sends the sequence emails you approve in the Outreach Queue from your own connected mailbox, so you no longer copy each one into your inbox and click Mark As Sent. It checks every 10 minutes, sends only inside your Sending Hours and your daily limits, and stops as soon as the lead's reply is captured. It never sends a draft you have not approved.
What it sends
- Only approved touches. Drafts and skipped touches are never sent. Each touch needs its own approval, including the day 3 and day 7 follow-ups.
- In order. The opener goes first. Follow-ups keep the 0, 3 and 7 day spacing, counted from when the previous email actually went out.
- One email per lead per run, so a backlog goes out in order rather than all at once.
- From your mailbox, as plain text, using the From name and address you set when you connected it. Legiit Leads never sends your cold email from its own address.

The limits it keeps to
- Sending Hours. It only sends while your hours are open. Until you set your own, they are 13:00 to 21:00 UTC, Monday to Friday. See What are Sending Hours and how do I set my own?
- The daily send ramp. It stops for the day once today's allowance is used: 20 a day in your first week, 40 in the second, 75 in the third, then 100, counted from your first approval.
- Each mailbox's daily cap. It sends from the mailbox with the most room left today, and waits for the next day once every mailbox is at its cap.
- A fresh address check. Just before each email it re-checks the lead's address. If the check fails, or the address is a placeholder, it skips that email and says so on the lead's activity trail.
- Stop on reply. Once a reply is captured on the lead (forwarded to your Reply Capture Address or pasted in), the rest of the sequence stops. It also never sends to a lead marked Replied, Won or Lost.
What you will see
- A green Outreach Autopilot is on. banner at the top of the Outreach Queue.
- On each approved touch, Approved. and when Autopilot will send it. After it goes, the touch shows Sent by Autopilot with the mailbox it used.
- On the lead's activity trail, a line such as
Day 0 email sent by Autopilot from you@youragency.com. A lead you had not contacted yet moves to Contacted. - The Today's send ramp bar in the Queue counts how many went out by Autopilot today.
What you need
Outreach Autopilot needs Agency Pro or Agency Empire, a mailbox with a green CONNECTED badge in the Outreach Autopilot card in Settings, and Auto-Send ticked. Until all three are in place, approving a draft does not send it. See How do I turn on Auto-Send?
