How do I choose a plan from inside the app?

Steps

1. Click Settings in the sidebar, or Choose Your Plan on the purple banner at the top of the page.
2. Find the Your Plan card near the top of Settings.
3. Pick Monthly or Annual (2 Months Free). Each plan card shows its price, its searches a month and 7-day free trial. Agency Pro carries the The Agency OS badge and Agency Empire the SaaS Mode badge.
4. Click the button on the plan you want, for example Choose Starter. With Annual (2 Months Free) selected the buttons name the annual plan, for example Choose Starter Annual.
5. A line under the cards reads Opening Stripe… and Stripe checkout opens. Enter your card and complete checkout.

What you see after paying

Stripe returns you to the Dashboard.

• On a brand new account that has not run a search yet, the setup wizard opens with ✓ Payment Set Up. Your 7 Day Free Trial Is Active. at the top. See How does the onboarding wizard find my first leads?
• On an account that has already searched or finished the wizard, a green line at the top of the Dashboard reads ✓ Payment set up successfully. Your plan is active.

Back in Settings, Your Plan now shows your plan name, its status (free trial during the trial), Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly). Stripe's confirmation can take a few seconds to arrive, so if the plan cards are still showing straight after you pay, wait a moment and reload the page rather than choosing again.

If you back out of checkout

If you leave the Stripe page without paying, no subscription is created and nothing is charged. You return to Settings, where Your Plan still shows the plan cards, and the banner Your account is not on a plan yet, so searches are locked. stays at the top of the page. Searches stay locked until you choose a plan. See Why does it say my account is not on a plan yet?

Good to know

• If checkout cannot open, the line under the cards shows the reason instead of Opening Stripe…, or Checkout failed.
• Already on a plan? The plan cards are replaced by Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly). See How do I upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual?
• Team seats cannot choose a plan. Instead of the plan cards, Your Plan reads Your plan is managed by the account owner. An account set up through another agency's signup page cannot either: its card reads Your plan is billed by your provider. Contact them to change or cancel. Neither one shows plan buttons.
