Why don't I see Manage Billing or Switch Plan in Settings?

Managing Your Subscription · Updated September 23, 2026

Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) only appear in the Your Plan card when your account has a live monthly or annual subscription (on a free trial, active or past due). Lifetime accounts have no subscription to manage, so both are hidden, and a cancelled account or one with no plan sees the plan cards with a Choose Starter or Choose Agency Pro button instead. A team member sees one line saying the plan is managed by the account owner, and a sub-account of another agency sees one line saying its provider bills it.

What the Your Plan card shows

Open Settings from the sidebar. What you see in Your Plan depends on your account:

  • A live subscription. Your plan name and status (free trial, active or past_due), the Manage Billing button, and a Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) row with a button for every other monthly and annual plan.
  • Lifetime or comped. If lifetime or comped shows next to your plan name, there is no recurring subscription behind the account, so there is no card to update and no plan to switch. Both buttons are hidden. A comped account is a complimentary plan set up by our team.
  • Cancelled, or no plan yet. The plan cards appear instead, with a Monthly and Annual (2 Months Free) toggle and a button such as Choose Agency Pro on each plan. Once you choose a plan and finish the Stripe checkout, the card shows your plan with Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly).
  • A team seat. The card shows one line, Your plan is managed by the account owner. There is no plan name, no status, no plan cards and no billing buttons on a seat. Ask the owner to make any billing change.
  • An account from another agency's signup page. If you joined through an agency's own signup page, that agency bills you, not Legiit Leads. The card shows one line, Your plan is billed by your provider. Contact them to change or cancel. There are no plan cards and no billing buttons. Ask the agency that set up your account about any plan or payment change.

Good to know

  • If your cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, the card keeps showing your plan and both buttons until that period ends. The plan cards appear once the subscription has actually ended.
  • A past_due status (shown in red) still has Manage Billing, so you can fix the payment there. See what past_due means.
  • The Compare All Plans → link beside the Your Plan heading opens the full plan comparison in a new tab. It shows on accounts that pay Legiit Leads directly, not on a team seat or an account billed by another agency.
