Why does the layout change when I zoom in or use a phone?

The sidebar becomes a menu

On a narrow window the sidebar is replaced by a dark top bar with the logo on the left and ☰ Menu on the right. Tap it and the same navigation opens as a drawer over the page, with every entry you had before, plus your searches meter and the Help Center link at the bottom. Close it with the ✕ button, by tapping the dark area beside it, or by pressing Escape. Choosing any entry also closes it. There is more on this in Where is the navigation menu on my phone?.

If you want the fixed sidebar back on a desktop, reset your browser zoom to its normal level or widen the window, and it returns on the left of every page.

What else moves

• Pipeline keeps all five columns, Working, Contacted, Replied, Won and Lost, at a readable width, and the board scrolls sideways instead of crushing them. Scroll or swipe the board to the right to reach the later stages.
• The Dashboard cards at the top of the page fit two to a row on a phone, three on a medium window and six across on a wide screen, so the same numbers are simply on more rows.
• The Today cards go one to a row on a phone, two on a medium window and four on a wide one.
• Page margins are tighter on a narrow window, so content sits closer to the edges.

If the menu itself is cut off

The list of navigation entries scrolls on its own when the window is short, such as on a small laptop or when you have zoomed in. If you cannot see Settings or Training, scroll inside the list and the rest of the entries appear. The searches meter and the links underneath stay pinned at the bottom.

Zoom changes the layout for you only. It does not change your data, your plan, or what a prospect sees on a proof page.
