What does the flame badge read their audit on a lead mean?

Hot Leads and Call Mode · Updated September 23, 2026

The red 🔥 read their audit 5h ago badge next to a lead's name in the Outreach Queue means the lead's proof page was opened in the last 48 hours, and the number is how many hours ago the latest open was. The Queue moves these hot leads to the front, so you can follow up while the prospect is looking at their own problems.

What the badge shows

  • Hours ago: the time since the most recent open, rounded to the nearest hour. It never shows less than 1h.
  • · 3 opens: added once the page has been opened more than once. It is the total number of opens so far, the same number as the 👀 Opened 3 times line in the Proof Page (public, white-label) section of the lead panel. Each time the prospect loads the page counts, so refreshing it or coming back later adds to the number.

How long it lasts

The flame stays for 48 hours after the most recent open. Each new open restarts the 48 hours, so a prospect who keeps coming back stays hot. Once 48 hours pass with no new open, the flame goes and the lead drops back to its normal place in the Queue. The open count stays on the lead panel.

Where hot leads sit in the Queue

  1. Leads with the flame.
  2. Leads with a fresh wound draft from your Monitored Markets.
  3. Everyone else, highest score first.

The flame only changes the order. A lead still has to qualify for the Queue on its own: see Why is a hot lead with the flame not showing in my Outreach Queue?

The Queue picks up new opens when you come back to its browser tab or reload it. The lead you are working on is never swapped out when the list re-sorts, so a lead that has just turned hot can jump ahead of it and your position line goes from Lead 3 of 12 to Lead 4 of 12. Click ← Prev as many times as it takes to reach the lead that jumped ahead, nearer the top of the list.

Good to know

  • Opening the page yourself with Preview does not light the flame. See Does my own Preview of a lead's proof page count as an open?
  • When the page is opened you also get an email, for example Smith Dental is reading their audit right now, at most once per lead every 6 hours. See the reading alert email.
  • The reading their audit card in the Dashboard's Today panel only lists opens from the last 24 hours, and Call Mode only puts opens from the last 24 hours at the front of the call list. A lead can keep the flame in the Queue after the Today card stops naming it and after it has lost its place at the front in Call Mode. See why the flame and the Today panel can disagree.
