When does the AI email mention that the lead's domain is expiring?

Writing Emails With AI · Updated September 23, 2026

The AI writes the expiry sentence only for leads that carry the Domain expiring soon finding, which is added when the domain has more than 0 and no more than 45 days left. If the lead has no such finding, the AI is never given the date and cannot mention it. If you remove the finding, nothing written after that mentions the expiry, but drafts written earlier keep the sentence until you edit them.

Where the sentence comes from

Every time the AI writes for a lead it is handed a short fact sheet built from that lead's audit. Almost every problem on that sheet is taken from the lead's Detected Problems, so a finding you have removed is not described to the AI. The expiry date only reaches that sheet when Domain expiring soon is on the lead, so the AI works to the same 45 day window you see in the app. Two lines are measurements rather than findings and are passed on whether or not a matching problem is listed: the homepage load time, and Google's PageSpeed score. The line saying the business is not in the Google local map pack comes from the search itself, which is why Something not accurate? does not list it.

To check a lead, open it and find the Domain expires row in the Live Website Audit. It shows the date and the days left, for example 2026-11-10 (31d). The row turns red at 45 days or fewer, the same point at which the Domain expiring soon pill appears under Detected Problems.

If you do not want the email to mention it

  1. Open the lead and click Something not accurate? under Detected Problems.
  2. Click ✕ Domain expiring soon. It leaves the problem list, the score and the facts the AI is given.
  3. Write the email after that. The new draft will not mention the expiry.

If you remove it by mistake, click restore next to it in the Removed as inaccurate line to put it back.

Clearing it from a draft you already have

Removing a finding does not rewrite drafts that were written before. To clean one up:

  1. In the Outreach Queue, delete the expiry sentence from the draft, then click Save Edits.
  2. For the Cold Email (personalized to this audit) in the lead, click Copy or Open In Gmail and delete the sentence in your mail app before you send.
  3. Or, once the finding is removed, click Regenerate or Regenerate This Touch to rewrite the touch from the updated facts.
The same fact sheet feeds the AI Pitch Strategy, the call brief and the drafted answer to a prospect's reply, so those follow the same rule.
