How do I delete a search, and what happens to its leads?

Steps

1. Click Search History in the sidebar.
2. Find the search. If the list is long, type part of its keywords or location into the Filter… box.
3. Click Delete on its row.
4. Your browser asks Delete this search and all its leads? Confirm to delete it, or cancel to keep it.

The row disappears straight away. There is no undo and no way to restore a deleted search.

What is deleted

• The search itself, so it no longer appears in Search History or on the Dashboard.
• Every lead the search found, wherever it is now. A lead you added to your Pipeline is removed from the board whatever its stage, even Won.
• Everything saved on those leads: pipeline stage, notes, email drafts, captured replies, logged calls, any proposal and any heatmap scan.
• Their public links. A proof page link you already sent shows This audit link is no longer available., and a before and after delivery page link stops working too.
• The search's Market Report, if you published one. Its link shows This report is no longer available.

There is no separate button to unpublish a Market Report, and deleting the search is the only way to take one down in the app. Only do that if you are happy to lose every lead in the search. If you want a report link taken down but need to keep the leads, email help@legiit.com.

Your monthly searches

Your allowance counts the searches you start each month, not the searches you still have. Deleting one does not give it back, and the searches meter does not go down. See What counts as a search, and how many do I get each month?

Good to know

• Team members on your account see the same Search History and can delete searches from it too.
