Why do I see searches in my history that I did not run?

Search History · Updated September 23, 2026

Some features add searches to your history for you. Your branded audit link saves every prospect who asks for their full report into a search called Inbound audits, and every scan of a Monitored Markets territory adds a new search with that territory's keywords and location, using 1 of your monthly searches. Searches your team members run also appear, because they work inside your account.

Inbound audits

This row has the keywords Inbound audits and the location Your audit link. It is created the first time a visitor to your branded audit link fills in their details and clicks Send My Full Report. Each of those visitors becomes a lead inside this one search, so its lead count grows over time rather than new rows appearing. See What happens when a prospect asks for the full report on my audit link?

It works like an imported list: no Google lookup is made, so its leads have no rating or review count, and the results page has no Market Report button. It does not use any of your monthly searches.

Monitored Markets scans

Every territory scan is a full live search: the first scan (Run Baseline Scan), any Re-Scan Now you click, and the automatic weekly scan. Each one adds a new row to Search History with the territory's keywords and location, so a territory you monitor shows up again every week. The results page of one of these searches does not show 📡 Monitor This Market Weekly, because that market is already monitored.

Each of those scans uses 1 of your plan's monthly searches, exactly like a search you run yourself, so it moves the searches meter at the bottom of the sidebar. A market you monitor therefore uses a search every week on its own.

If your monthly searches are already used up, no scan runs. A weekly scan due at that moment is skipped and tried again later, and Re-Scan Now or Run Baseline Scan is turned down for the same reason any other search is: You've used all N searches on your plan this month. Upgrade in Settings to keep hunting., where N is your plan's allowance. So if you click one of those buttons and no scan starts, check the searches meter at the bottom of the sidebar first. The territory is not paused and nothing is lost. A territory that has scanned before keeps the Last scan date it already had, and one that has never scanned still reads No baseline scan yet. Run one now on its card. Scanning starts again by itself once your allowance resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st, or as soon as you move to a bigger plan. See What happens when I use all my searches for the month?

To stop new scans, click Pause or Abandon on the territory in Monitored Markets. See How do I pause, resume or abandon a territory?

Searches by your team

Team members you add under Team Seats in Settings work inside your account. Every search they run shows in your Search History and counts toward your monthly searches. The list does not show who ran each search.

Your first search from setup

The search the setup wizard ran for you when you joined is listed under the niche and city you entered there. It counts as one of your searches.

Good to know

  • These rows work like any other search: View opens the results and Delete removes the search with every lead in it.
  • Deleting Inbound audits deletes every prospect who came in through your audit link. A new Inbound audits search is created the next time a prospect asks for their report.
  • Each territory scan compares its results with its most recent scan to spot new businesses, broken sites and other changes. If you delete that latest scan, the next scan has nothing to compare with and raises no alerts that week.
