How do I tag the problems a service fixes?
On a service row in My Services, click Fixes 0 problems to open the list of problems, then click each problem that service fixes. Selected problems turn purple. Click Save Settings, and from then on a new proposal pulls that service in whenever the lead has one of those problems.
Steps
- Open Settings from the sidebar and scroll to the My Services card.
- On the service's row, click the purple Fixes 0 problems link under the description box, next to Active. Once tags are set it reads Fixes 1 problem, Fixes 3 problems and so on.
- Click each problem the service fixes, for example Weak rankings, No schema markup or Slow load time. A selected problem turns purple with white text. Click it again to turn it off.
- Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
The list holds all 28 problems Legiit Leads checks for, with the same names you see on your leads, from Weak rankings and Weak title tag at the top to Domain expiring soon and No AI assistant at the bottom.
How tags fill a new proposal
When you open a lead that has no proposal yet and click 💰 Attach Priced Proposal, the lines are already filled in from your active services:
- Services ticked On every proposal go in first.
- Then, for each problem found on the lead, every active service tagged with that problem is added, once each.
- It stops taking in further problems once the proposal has 8 lines, and a new proposal never starts with more than 10 lines.
If none of your active services is ticked On every proposal or tagged with a problem the lead has, the proposal is filled from Legiit Leads' own suggested services and prices instead. You can change, remove or add lines either way before you publish.
Good to know
- A service can carry up to 10 problem tags. If you pick more, only the first 10 you picked are kept when you save.
- Where you can, tag each problem on just 1 service. If 2 services share a tag, both land on the proposal.
- Only problems found on the lead count. The ones in the Worth a look, not verified box do not pull in a service.
- A service with Active unticked is skipped, even when its tags match.
- Tags only decide which services fill a new proposal. A proposal already published keeps its lines, and the AI describes your services by name, price and description, not by tag.
- An untagged service can still go on any proposal from the + Add From My Services list in the proposal editor.
- Services added with Import Starter Services arrive already tagged with the problems they fix, so you only need to adjust them.
