How do I control which services go on my proposals?
Each service row in My Services has 2 tick boxes and a ✕. Tick On every proposal to put a service on every new proposal whatever problems the lead has, untick Active to keep a service in your list but out of new proposals and the AI's description of your offer, and click the ✕ to delete it. Each change is stored when you click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
Put a service on every proposal
Tick On every proposal on the row, then click Save Settings. Use it for a fee you charge every client, such as an onboarding fee or a base retainer.
When a new proposal is filled in, these services go in first, before the ones matched to the lead's problems. They count towards the proposal's lines: services stop being added for further problems once a new proposal has 8 lines, and it never starts with more than 10. Keep this to 1 or 2 services so the problem fixes still fit.
A service ticked On every proposal is skipped while Active is unticked.
Switch a service off without deleting it
Untick Active on the row, then click Save Settings. The row turns faded with a dashed border so you can see it is off. While a service is inactive:
- it is not added to new proposals, even if it is ticked On every proposal or tagged with a problem the lead has
- it is left out of the + Add From My Services list in the proposal editor
- the AI leaves it out when it describes your offer in cold emails, sequences, reply drafts, call briefs and pitch strategies
Tick Active again and save to bring it back with its price, tags and description as you left them. New services, and services added with Import Starter Services, start out active.
If every service is inactive, the AI goes back to what you wrote in Anything else about your offer (optional) in the Your Agency card, and new proposals are filled from Legiit Leads' own suggested services.
Delete a service
- Click the ✕ at the end of the service's top line, after the One time or Per month menu. Its tooltip reads Remove. The row disappears straight away.
- Click Save Settings to make the deletion stick.
Clicked the ✕ by mistake? Reload the page before you save and the row comes back. Reloading also drops any other changes you have not saved yet.
If you might sell the service again, untick Active instead, so its price, tags and description are kept.
Good to know
- Proposals already published keep their own copy of each line's name and price. Deleting a service, switching it off or changing its price never changes a proposal a prospect can already see.
- These settings only shape how a new proposal starts. You can still add, change or remove any line in the proposal editor before you publish.
