How do I cancel my subscription?

Steps

1. Click Settings in the sidebar.
2. In the Your Plan card, click Manage Billing. A line under the card reads Opening Stripe…, then the Stripe billing portal opens.
3. Cancel your subscription in the portal. The portal also holds your card and your invoices, but not your plan choice: to move to another plan instead of cancelling, use Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) in the app.
4. When you are done, the portal sends you back to Settings.

Only the account owner can cancel. A team seat's Your Plan card reads Your plan is managed by the account owner. and has no Manage Billing button. If your account was set up through another agency's own signup page, that agency bills you: the card reads Your plan is billed by your provider. Contact them to change or cancel., again with no Manage Billing button, so ask that agency to cancel.

When the cancellation takes effect

A cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, not the moment you click it. Until that date your plan keeps working and Settings keeps showing it, with Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) still on the card. Legiit Leads treats your plan as ended when Stripe reports the subscription as canceled.

What changes once your plan has ended

• Searches lock. New searches are refused with Your account does not have an active plan. Choose a plan in Settings to start searching. Every plan begins with a 7 day free trial.
• A banner appears. The next time you open the app, a purple banner at the top of the page reads Your account is not on a plan yet, so searches are locked., with a Choose Your Plan button.
• The searches meter disappears from the bottom of the sidebar.
• Agency Pro and Agency Empire features lock if you were on one of those plans.
• Settings shows the plan cards again in the Your Plan card, in place of Manage Billing and Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly).

Coming back later

To start again, pick Monthly or Annual (2 Months Free) in the Your Plan card and click the Choose button on a plan, for example Choose Agency. The plan cards mention a 7-day free trial, but the trial is only for an account's first subscription, so a returning account is charged when checkout completes.
