What should I do if I think someone else has access to my account?

Steps

1. Click Settings in the sidebar. Your Account is the first card on the page.
2. Type your password in Current Password.
3. Under New Password, type a new password (at least 8 characters) in both boxes, then click Change Password. Wait for Password changed. You stay signed in here.
4. If your login email may be known too, type your new password in Current Password (the box empties after each change), replace the address in Login Email and click Change Email. You will see Email updated. Use the new address next time you sign in.
5. On each of your own devices that is still signed in, open Legiit Leads and click Sign Out at the bottom of the sidebar. Sign Out applies to that device only, so signing out on your laptop leaves your phone signed in.
6. Sign back in with your new email and password.

So the only sign-in of your own you can end from inside Legiit Leads is the one on the device in front of you. The new password, and the new login email if you changed it, are what stop the other person getting back in.

If a team member's login is the concern

If you are the account owner and the problem is a team seat, remove it:

1. In Settings, scroll to the Team Seats card.
2. Click Remove next to the seat.
3. Confirm the message, which ends Their login stops working immediately.

The seat's login is deleted, so it can no longer be used to sign in. Read more about removing a team member.

If you cannot sign in any more

If your password no longer works, open the sign-in box and use Forgot Password? to reset your password. Then follow the steps above to change your login email as well.

Good to know

• Legiit Leads has no two-factor authentication, no list of signed-in devices and no sign out everywhere button, so changing your password, and your login email if it may be known, is how you lock someone out. See what security options there are.
