How does Legiit Leads choose the live marketplace services, and why do leads show the same ones?
Legiit Leads looks up the first 3 problems in the lead's Detected Problems list, turns each one into one of Legiit's marketplace searches, and shows at most 2 services per problem, so up to 6 cards. The lookup is made by problem type, not by business, and each search's results are kept for 6 hours. So two leads whose problems lead to the same searches show the same services until those results refresh.
Which problems are used
The first 3 pills under Detected Problems on the lead. Problems are listed in the order Legiit Leads checks them, not ranked by how serious they are. The Google listing checks come first (No website, Low star rating, Few Google reviews, Incomplete GBP), then the website checks. A lead with more than 3 problems gets no live cards for the ones further down the list.
Each card carries a Fixes: line naming the problem it answers, so you can see which card belongs to which problem. A problem with no marketplace search of its own is looked up on Legiit's general search, and its cards carry no Fixes: line, because those services were not matched to that problem.
When the lead's problems change (for example, after you remove a finding with Something not accurate?), the lookup runs again for whichever 3 problems are now first.
Which search each problem uses
- Weak rankings and No AI-search presence share an SEO search.
- Not secure (no SSL) has its own SSL search.
- No schema markup has its own schema search.
- Slow load time has its own slow website search.
- Stale / missing blog has its own blog content search.
- No analytics has its own analytics search.
- Few Google reviews and Low star rating share a reviews search.
- Incomplete GBP and No website share a business search.
- Every other problem (for example Weak title tag or No contact form) uses Legiit's general search. Those cards show without a Fixes: line.
Why different leads show the same services
The search depends only on the problem type. The lead's name, city and category play no part. Legiit returns a list of services, Legiit Leads keeps up to 8 of them per search, and the cards take the first 2 of those. Each search's results are then kept for 6 hours before Legiit is asked again.
That means every lead whose problems include, say, Few Google reviews or Low star rating shows the same review services for up to 6 hours. Leads whose problems have no search of their own share the same general results.
No service twice
A service is only ever shown once on a lead. When 2 of the lead's first 3 problems share a search, for example Weak rankings and No AI-search presence, the second problem takes the next services down that same list instead of repeating the first problem's cards. So a lead can show 6 cards from 2 searches.
If one problem's lookup fails or comes back empty, the other 2 still get their cards.
Good to know
- The catalog cards under the live cards are not limited to the first 3 problems: they work down the lead's whole problem list, up to 6 services in total.
