How does Legiit Leads choose the live marketplace services, and why do leads show the same ones?
Legiit Leads looks up only the first problem in the lead's Detected Problems list, turns it into one of Legiit's marketplace searches, and shows the first 3 services that search returns. The lookup is made by problem type, not by business, and each result is kept for 6 hours. So two leads whose first problem leads to the same search show the same services until the results refresh.
Which problem is used
It is the first pill under Detected Problems on the lead. Problems are listed in the order Legiit Leads checks them, not ranked by how serious they are. The Google listing checks come first (No website, Low star rating, Few Google reviews, Incomplete GBP), then the website checks. So if a lead has any listing problem, that is the one looked up, even when a website problem matters more to your pitch.
When the lead's problems change (for example, after you remove a finding with Something not accurate?), the lookup runs again for whichever problem is now first.
Which search each problem uses
- Weak rankings and No AI-search presence share an SEO search.
- Not secure (no SSL) has its own SSL search.
- No schema markup has its own schema search.
- Slow load time has its own slow website search.
- Stale / missing blog has its own blog content search.
- No analytics has its own analytics search.
- Few Google reviews and Low star rating share a reviews search.
- Incomplete GBP and No website share a business search.
- Every other problem (for example Weak title tag or No contact form) uses Legiit's general search.
Why different leads show the same services
The search depends only on the problem type. The lead's name, city and category play no part. Legiit returns a list of services, Legiit Leads keeps up to 8 of them and shows the first 3. Each search's results are then kept for 6 hours before Legiit is asked again.
That means every lead whose first problem is, say, Few Google reviews or Low star rating shows the same review services for up to 6 hours. All leads whose first problem has no search of its own share the same general results.
Good to know
- The catalog cards under the live cards are not limited to the first problem: they work down the lead's problem list, up to 6 services in total.
