How do I pause, resume or abandon a territory?

Pause and resume

1. Click Monitored Markets in the sidebar.
2. Find the territory card and click Pause.
3. A PAUSED badge appears next to the keywords and location, and the button changes to Resume.

A paused territory is skipped by the automatic check, so no new scans start on their own. Everything it has already gathered is kept: its scan history, its alerts and every lead from its past scans. Click Resume to put it back in the rotation. If more than 7 days have passed while it was paused, the next check scans it.

You can still scan a paused territory by hand with Re-Scan Now. Pausing only stops the automatic scans.

Abandon a territory

1. Click Abandon on the territory card.
2. Your browser asks Abandon this territory and its alerts?
3. Confirm to delete it, or cancel to keep it.

The card disappears straight away. There is no undo, and no way to restore an abandoned territory.

What is deleted and what stays

• Deleted: the territory itself and the alert list on its card, including the buying-window alerts from every past scan.
• Kept: every search its scans created, with all their leads, audits, proof pages and pipeline deals. They stay in your Search History under the territory's keywords and location, exactly like a search you ran yourself.

Good to know

• You can claim the same keywords and location again later, but the new territory starts with no history, so its first scan is a baseline and raises no alerts.
• If you only want a break from the weekly scans, use Pause rather than Abandon. Pausing keeps the comparison history, so the next scan after you resume can still spot what changed.
