What happens when I use all my searches for the month?

Where you will see the message

It appears in red wherever a new search would start:

• New Search, including a search opened with ⧉ Find More Like This on a won deal
• Run This Search → on the AI Agent page
• A Resurrect a List import
• Find My First Leads in the setup wizard

Nothing is started when this happens, so the refused attempt does not use a search.

What happens to your monitored markets

A territory scan is a full live search and uses one, so Re-Scan Now and Run Baseline Scan are refused with the same message once the allowance is gone. No scan starts, and Last scan stays on the date of the last scan that ran.

A weekly scan that falls due while your searches are used up is skipped and tried again later. The territory is not paused and nothing is lost: it stays on the page with its alerts. Scans start again by themselves once the allowance resets on the 1st, or as soon as you move to a plan with more searches.

What keeps working

The monthly allowance only stops new searches. Your past searches and their leads, your drafts and outreach, the Pipeline, proof pages and clients are not affected by it. Map-Pack heatmap scans have their own separate allowance and keep running.

Before you run out

The meter at the bottom of the sidebar turns amber once you reach 80 percent of your allowance, and an Upgrade link appears beside it. The link opens Settings.

Get more searches this month

1. Click Settings in the sidebar, or Upgrade next to the meter.
2. In the Your Plan card, find the Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) row.
3. Click a larger plan. When the card shows Switched to and the new plan's name, the higher limit applies straight away.

Searches you have already run this month still count. For example, if you used all 100 on Agency and switch to Agency Pro, you have 150 left until the 1st. See how to switch plans for the billing side.

Good to know

• Unused searches do not roll over, and the new month always starts from your plan's full allowance.
• Team seats share the account owner's allowance. A seat's Your Plan card shows Your plan is managed by the account owner. with no plan buttons, so only the owner can switch.
• If you switch to a smaller plan after using more searches than it allows, new searches stay stopped until the 1st.
• Lifetime accounts do not have a Switch Plan (Prorated Instantly) row. See what a Lifetime account includes.
• If your account was set up by an agency that resells Legiit Leads to you, the message ends after "this month", and that agency handles your plan and its allowance.
