What does the "Answer within the hour" reply email mean?
A prospect replied, Legiit Leads captured the reply, and it read that reply as either interested or an objection. Both are live intent, so you get an instant email, and an answer that cites their own verified evidence is already drafted for you in the app. The Open the Drafted Response button takes you to it.
What the email says
The subject is a flame, then the business name and what kind of reply it was, either is interested. Answer within the hour or has an objection. Answer within the hour. For example, a flame then Smith Dental is interested. Answer within the hour.
The body tells you a response citing their verified evidence is already drafted, then quotes the start of what they actually wrote (the first 500 characters), so you can judge the tone before you open anything.
At the bottom is one button, Open the Drafted Response, which opens that lead in Pipeline with the drafted answer waiting.
What capturing the reply already did
As soon as a reply lands on a lead, three things happen without you touching anything:
- The lead's follow-up sequence is paused, so no scheduled cold touch goes out on top of a live conversation.
- A lead sitting in Working or Contacted moves to Replied.
- The reply is classified and an answer is drafted from the lead's verified evidence.
A reply read as an unsubscribe is handled differently. That lead is marked Lost (unless it is already Won), and no alert email is sent. Only interested and objection replies trigger this email.
How replies reach a lead in the first place
- Reply Capture Address: Settings shows a personal address for your account with a Copy button next to it. Forward a prospect's reply there, or set up auto-forwarding for replies in your own inbox, and it lands on the matching lead automatically.
- 📥 Paste a Reply: open the lead, click 📥 Paste a Reply in its Replies section, paste the reply text and click Capture and Draft My Answer. Same result, no forwarding needed.
Intent drops by the hour. The whole point of this email is that the answer is already written, so most of the work is reading it, adjusting a line, and sending.
