How do I sell my own playbook on the Playbook Market?

The same button reads Close Builder while the builder is open, so you can put it away without publishing.

The fields

Title and Niche name the playbook on its card. The title is kept to 100 characters and the niche to 60. If you leave the title blank it is listed as Untitled Playbook, and a blank niche falls back to your keywords.

Price $ (0 = free; paid needs Stripe connected) sets the price. Leave it at 0 to give the playbook away. See how much you can charge and how you get paid before you put a number in.

What buyers get (description) is the paragraph shown on your card, up to 1000 characters. The card shows only the first 3 lines of it, so lead with the essentials.

Search keywords (who it hunts) is the keyword line the buyer's search starts from, up to 80 characters. This one is required.

Problem types it targets are the problem filters the buyer's search starts with. Click the chips to switch them on and off. At least one is required, and up to 10 are kept.

Offer stack (what the buyer sells, priced) is what the buyer resells. Each row has a service name, a price and a one-line description. Click + Offer Item to add another row. You need at least one row with a name and a price above zero, and up to 10 rows are kept. The prices you enter are added up and shown on your card as the offer stack value.

Fulfillment recipe (the Legiit services that deliver it) is how the work actually gets done. Each row takes a service name, a Legiit link, your estimated cost and a suggested sell price. Click + Recipe Item for another row. Up to 12 rows are kept. Only links that start with https://legiit.com/ or https://www.legiit.com/ are saved, so a link to anywhere else is dropped and the row keeps just its name and prices.

Outreach templates (optional, installed into the buyer's library) are the emails that land in the buyer's template library when they install. Click + Template and fill in a title, a subject and a body. A row is only kept if all three are filled in, and up to 6 templates are kept.

Operator notes (your playbook wisdom) takes up to 2000 characters. It is stored with the playbook, but nothing in the app shows it to a buyer today, and the same goes for your offer rows and recipe rows: buyers see only the totals on the card. Put anything a buyer must read into one of your outreach templates, or into the first 3 lines of What buyers get (description), because there is no page a buyer can open to read the rest.

Publish it

1. Click Publish To The Market. The button reads Publishing… while it saves.
2. The builder closes and the page shows Published ✓.
3. Your playbook is immediately listed in the market with zero installs.

If publishing is refused

The message appears in a red box just above Publish To The Market. The checks are:

• "A playbook needs target keywords (the niche it hunts)." if Search keywords (who it hunts) is empty
• "Pick at least one problem type from the catalog." if no problem chip is selected
• "Add at least one priced offer item." if no offer row has both a name and a price above zero

For a paid playbook there are two more: your Stripe has to be connected, and the price has to be between $47 and $997. Both are covered in why a paid playbook will not publish.

Changing or removing a listing

There is no way on the page to edit or take down a playbook you have published. The builder only creates new listings, and your own cards look the same as everyone else's.

If you need a listing pulled, for example because of a wrong price or a typo in the title, email help@legiit.com with the playbook title and we will unlist it. It then disappears from the market and can no longer be installed. Agencies who already installed it keep it, including the templates that were copied into their library.

To correct a live playbook today, publish a new listing with the right details and ask us to unlist the old one.
