Why can't I publish a paid playbook, or why can't a buyer pay for one?

Fix it

1. Open Settings in the sidebar and look at the Get Paid card.
2. Click Connect Stripe, or Finish Stripe Setup if you started before, and answer Stripe's questions.
3. Come back to Playbook Market, click Sell A Playbook, fill the builder in again and click Publish To The Market.

• ✓ STRIPE CONNECTED · payments enabled: everything is in place. Paid playbooks publish and buyers can check out.
• ONBOARDING INCOMPLETE with a Finish Stripe Setup button: Stripe has your account but still wants something from you, usually identity or bank details. Paid playbooks stay blocked until this clears.
• Connect Stripe: no Stripe account is linked yet.

Stripe can also take a little while to enable charges after you finish. If the card still says ONBOARDING INCOMPLETE right after you submit everything, reload Settings in a few minutes.

The other reason publishing is refused

If your Stripe is fine but the price is wrong, the red box above Publish To The Market reads "Paid playbooks run $47 to $997. Or make it free." Change Price $ (0 = free; paid needs Stripe connected) to an amount inside that range, or to 0, and publish again.

Those two messages appear in the same red box, so read the wording to tell them apart. If the box says something else, for example that the playbook needs target keywords, a problem type or a priced offer item, the price is not the problem: see how to fill in the builder.

If you are the buyer

"This seller can't take payments yet." means the seller's own Stripe is not connected, not that anything is wrong with your account or your card. There is nothing you can do from your side. Wait for the seller to connect Stripe, or look for another playbook in the market.

Free playbooks are never affected by any of this. A playbook priced at 0 publishes and installs without Stripe being involved at all.
