Why does the proposal editor tell me to set up My Services?

Why you see it

Every time you open a lead, the proposal editor checks your saved services. With none saved, a new proposal starts from Legiit Leads' suggestions instead: up to 3 lines matched to the lead's problems, with suggested prices converted into your currency, or a single Website Fix Package line when nothing fits. These are starting points, not your prices, which is why the editor points you to My Services.

Steps

1. Click the link to open Settings, or click Settings in the sidebar, and scroll to My Services.
2. Click Import Starter Services to load a ready-made set, already tagged with the problems each service fixes, and change the prices to yours. Or click + Add Service to add your own. Import Starter Services only shows while your list is empty.
3. Tag the problems each service fixes, and tick On every proposal on any fee every client pays.
4. Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
5. Open the lead again and click 💰 Attach Priced Proposal. The lines now come from your services.

What changes once you have services

• The link no longer appears.
• A + Add From My Services menu appears next to + Add Line. It lists your active services that are not on the proposal yet, with their price and /mo after monthly ones. Pick one to add it as a line.
• + Add Line is always there. It adds a blank line you can name and price yourself.

Proposals that do not refill

A proposal that is already published keeps its lines, and lines you have already changed in an open editor are never replaced. To bring your services into a published proposal that has not been accepted yet, either:

• click Edit Priced Proposal, add your services from + Add From My Services, remove the old lines with their ✕ and publish again, or
• click Edit Priced Proposal and then Remove Proposal, close the lead, open it again and click 💰 Attach Priced Proposal to start fresh from your services. Removing takes the proposal off the prospect's proof page until you publish the new one.

Still seeing suggested services?

• You have services, but none fits this lead. If none of your active services is ticked On every proposal or tagged with a problem the lead has, the proposal still starts from suggestions. The link does not appear in this case, because your list is not empty.
• Every service has Active unticked. Inactive services are ignored, so proposals start from suggestions and + Add From My Services does not appear.
• The changes were not saved. Services are only stored when you click Save Settings.
• The lead was already open. Services are read when you open the lead, so close it and open it again after saving.
