What is the Default note under every proposal box for?

Steps

1. Open Settings from the sidebar and scroll to the bottom of the My Services card.
2. Type your note in Default note under every proposal (optional). The empty box suggests Timeline, what happens after acceptance, guarantees…
3. Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.

How it is used

When you open a lead that has no proposal yet and click 💰 Attach Priced Proposal, the note box under the lines already holds your default note. Edit it or clear it for this prospect, then publish with the button that shows the total, for example Publish $1,500 Proposal. Your edits apply to that proposal only; the default in Settings stays as it is.

On the proof page, the note appears in small text under the total, below the list of priced lines.

Good to know

• Only new proposals are pre-filled. A proposal already published keeps its own note, and changing the default later does not touch it. To change the note on a live proposal, click Edit Priced Proposal on the lead, edit the note and publish again.
• The default is saved up to 600 characters, but a published proposal keeps only the first 500 characters of its note. Keep the default under 500 so none of it is cut off.
• Leave the box blank and new proposals start with an empty note. To stop pre-filling, clear the box and click Save Settings.
• Long dashes are replaced when you save: with a hyphen between numbers (10-14 days) and between short day names (Mon-Fri), and with a comma everywhere else.
