What happens when a buying-window alert fires?

Buying-Window Alerts and the Scoreboard · Updated September 23, 2026

Three things happen. The alert lands on the territory's card in Monitored Markets with a Pitch it → link, up to 3 alerts from that scan get an opener written for you and left as a draft on the lead, and the alert is counted on your Dashboard and in your morning email for the next 24 hours.

On the territory card

The alert appears under Buying-window alerts with the business name, what changed and the date. Pitch it → opens the results of the scan that raised it, where you can read the business's full evidence and add it to your pipeline.

A drafted opener for the top 3

For the first 3 alerts a scan raises, Legiit Leads writes a day 0 opening email in your voice, using your agency details and your services, and built around the change as a time-sensitive trigger that was verified this week by the market scan. It is saved on the lead as a draft, so nothing is sent.

  • Only leads that have an email address and no email sequence yet get one. A lead you have already drafted a sequence for is left alone.
  • The draft ends with a short P.S. linking the business to its own live proof page, so they can check the findings themselves.
  • In the Outreach Queue the draft is labelled 🩹 Fresh wound (auto-drafted by your market monitor): followed by what changed, and these leads are sorted near the top of the queue, behind only leads who opened their proof page in the last 48 hours.
  • Read it, edit anything you want, then approve it like any other draft.

On your Dashboard and in your inbox

  • The Today panel on the Dashboard has a market alerts card. It counts the alerts raised across all your territories in the last 24 hours, up to 10, lists up to 3 of them, and opens Monitored Markets when you click it. With none, it reads No alerts in the last 24h.
  • The morning pipeline digest email lists up to 3 fresh alerts, each as the business name and what changed. You get it only while Send me the morning pipeline digest (follow-ups due, prospects reading, market alerts) is ticked in Settings.
The drafted opener is a best effort. If it cannot be written, the alert itself still shows on the territory card, so you never lose the signal.
