What is my branded audit link and how do I turn it on?
Your branded audit link is a public page under your agency name where any business can run a real live audit on its own website. Visitors who want the full report leave their contact details, and they arrive in your account as an inbound lead with their proof page already emailed to them. It is included on every plan.
Turn it on
- Open Settings.
- Scroll to the Your Branded Audit Link card.
- Tick Turn on my audit page. It saves on the spot, there is no separate save button for this card.
- Your link appears in a box under the checkbox. Click Copy to put it on your clipboard. The button reads Copied ✓ for a couple of seconds.
- Click Preview to open the page in a new tab and see exactly what a prospect sees.
Untick Turn on my audit page whenever you want to take the page offline again.
What the address looks like
The link ends in /audit/ followed by your Company Name in lower case with dashes, plus 4 extra characters, for example /audit/my-agency-3f9a. Company Name comes from the Your Agency card in Settings. If you have not saved one yet, the address starts with agency instead.
The first part of the address is your own domain once you have verified one, otherwise the Legiit Leads address.
The address is created once and then kept. Switching the page off and back on does not change it, and neither does changing your company name later, so a link you have already printed or posted keeps working.
What a prospect sees on it
- Your logo at the top, if you have uploaded one, with your Company Name above the headline.
- Your accent colour on the Check My Website button, if you have set one.
- Powered by Legiit Leads. at the foot of the page, unless you have removed the credit.
If you have not saved a Company Name in the Your Agency card, the page shows Your Local Agency to visitors instead of your name. Save it before you share the link. Company Name is on every plan.
A logo and an accent colour are not on every plan: saving them in the White Label card needs Agency Pro or Agency Empire. If your account already has a logo or an accent colour saved, it stays on the page whatever plan you are on, and you can still change it. See How do I add my logo and accent colour, and where do they show?
The page itself is described in What does a prospect see when they check their website on my audit link?
Where to put the link
Put it anywhere a business owner might click it: your email signature, your social bios, and your ads. Every check on the page is run live at the moment the visitor clicks, so the page is worth sharing on its own even before anyone asks for a report.
