Why did my Legiit order fail?
Every line that did not go through stays in the Order On Legiit From Here panel with the reason printed in red underneath it, and only the lines that became real orders are removed. Fix what the message asks for, then reload the page and open the deal again before you paste the corrected address and place it.
What you see when part of a batch fails
Under the panel a line reads, for example, 1 order placed. 1 did not go through; the lines below say why. The service that failed is still there with its address, its package and its error, so you only have to fix that one line. The Check button on a line shows its own error in the same place when Legiit will not accept the address.
Reload the page and open the deal again before you place the corrected line. The line that went through is removed from the panel, so the corrected line moves up into its place. Placed straight away it reuses that position, and the panel can report it as placed when no new order was created. Reloading first avoids this.
The messages and what to do
- Not enough Legiit wallet balance ($X available, $Y needed). Add funds to your wallet on legiit.com, then try again. Your Legiit wallet does not cover the order. Top the wallet up on legiit.com, then reopen the deal so the panel reads your new balance and place the line again.
- Legiit rejected the API token. Reconnect your Legiit account in Settings. The connected token no longer works. Generate a fresh one on Legiit and reconnect it in the Legiit Marketplace card in Settings.
- This Legiit token is missing a required permission. Generate a fresh token on Legiit and reconnect. The token is valid but is not allowed to place orders. Generate a new token on Legiit with the ordering permission, then reconnect it in Settings.
- Paste a full Legiit service URL, like https://legiit.com/seller/service-name. What you pasted is not a legiit.com address. Open the service on legiit.com and copy the address of its page from your browser.
- Legiit did not recognize that service URL. The address is on legiit.com but does not point at a service page, for example a search results page or a seller profile. Open the service itself and copy that address.
- That service is not currently available to order. The seller has paused or removed it. Pick a different service on Legiit.
- Legiit is rate limiting requests. Wait a minute, then try again. Too many requests reached Legiit at once. When Legiit rate limits the order itself, Legiit Leads waits and sends it once more on its own, so seeing this after the place button can mean the second attempt was refused too. The service lookup, both on Check and as part of placing, is a single attempt. Wait a minute and try again, or split a large batch in two.
- Connect your Legiit account in Settings first. No Legiit account is connected. Until it is, the Fulfillment Bridge shows Order Without Leaving The App instead of the order panel. See how to connect your Legiit account.
- Legiit could not find that service or order. The marketplace has no record of it. Open the service on legiit.com and check it is still there.
- Order N was placed on Legiit but saving it locally failed: followed by a reason, with the real order number in place of N. The order went through on Legiit and came out of your wallet, but Legiit Leads could not record it, so it is not in the list of orders on the panel. Find it on legiit.com rather than treating that line as one that failed.
Any other wording is either the message Legiit itself sent back or, when Legiit sent none, Legiit API error followed by the code it answered with in brackets, for example Legiit API error (503). Wait a minute and try the line again.
Wallet balance unavailable. Retry
This replaces the Wallet: figure at the top right of the panel when your Legiit account is connected but the balance could not be read just then. It is a button: click it to look the balance up again. Orders you have already placed, and their Accept Delivery and Request Revision buttons, stay on screen while this shows.
Before the batch is even sent
If the services you checked add up to more than your wallet holds, nothing is sent. The balance turns amber, the place button is disabled, and a line underneath says how much the wallet has and how much the batch needs. Add funds on legiit.com and the button unlocks once the balance covers it.
If placing is interrupted, for example your connection drops, clicking the place button again without changing the lines is safe. Each line carries a marker that Legiit recognises, so an order that already went through is matched to the one you have rather than created and charged a second time.
