How do I connect my Legiit account to Legiit Leads?

Steps

1. On Legiit, generate a token under Account Settings, Legiit Leads API. Legiit shows the token only once, so copy it and paste it into Legiit Leads straight away.
2. In Legiit Leads, click Settings in the sidebar and scroll to the Legiit Marketplace card.
3. Paste the token into the Paste your Legiit API token field.
4. Click Connect Legiit Account. The button stays greyed out until the token is at least 20 characters long, and reads Verifying… while Legiit Leads checks the token with Legiit.

What you will see

• ✓ LEGIIT CONNECTED, with your Wallet balance next to it: you are connected. The balance is always shown in US$ because Legiit bills in US dollars.
• Disconnect: removes the saved token. The card goes back to the token field, and you can connect again at any time.
• A red message under the field: the token was not accepted. Nothing is saved until the check succeeds.

The connection takes effect as soon as the card shows ✓ LEGIIT CONNECTED. You do not need to click a save button.

If it does not work

• Legiit rejected that token. Generate a new one under Account Settings, Legiit Leads API. The token was mistyped, cut short or is no longer valid. Generate a fresh one on Legiit and paste it right away.
• A message that starts Legiit answered and asks you to try again in a minute: Legiit could not confirm the token just then. Wait a minute and click Connect Legiit Account again.
• The card shows the token field again some time after you connected: Legiit Leads could not read your wallet with the saved token. Reload the page first. If it keeps happening, generate a new token on Legiit and connect it.

Good to know

• Only the account owner connects Legiit. Team members on a seat do not see the Legiit Marketplace card. Once the owner connects, orders placed on won deals are paid from the agency's Legiit wallet.
• Your wallet pays for the work. Money your client pays you is separate from your Legiit wallet. If the wallet runs low, add funds on legiit.com.
• The token is stored encrypted, and the field clears once you are connected.
