What do the Web Design / Dev problem filters mean?

The 8 filters

Each card is followed in brackets by the name it shows under in the Problems Detected column of your results.

• Slow Website (Slow load time): flagged when the homepage takes more than 3,500 ms (3.5 seconds) to start answering.
• Missing / Broken SSL (Not secure (no SSL)): flagged when the secure HTTPS version of the site is refused or broken and the site only answers over plain HTTP. If HTTPS simply times out, it is not flagged.
• Not Mobile Friendly (Not mobile friendly): flagged when the homepage has no mobile viewport tag, the line that tells phones to fit the page to the screen.
• No Website (No website): flagged when the business's Google listing has no website. There is no site to audit, so none of the other website filters can apply to it.
• Outdated Website (Outdated site): flagged when the latest copyright year on the homepage is 3 or more years old, so in 2026 a copyright notice reading 2023 or earlier. A site with no copyright year is not flagged, and design is not judged.
• No Contact Form (No contact form): flagged when no contact form is found on the pages checked. A form counts when it has a message box, an email field plus another field such as a name, or at least 3 text fields, and an embedded form service counts too. Search boxes, logins, checkouts and newsletter signups do not.
• No Online Booking (No online booking): flagged when no online booking tool, such as Calendly, Acuity, Square Appointments, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Zocdoc or OpenTable, is found on the pages checked.
• Domain Expiring Soon (Domain expiring soon): flagged when the domain's public registry record shows it expires within the next 45 days. Domains that have already expired are not flagged.

"The pages checked" means the homepage plus up to 3 more of the site's pages, such as its contact, about and booking pages. A site that could not be reached, or that showed a bot-protection page instead of its content, gets none of the website problems.

On sites made with a site builder such as Wix or Squarespace, forms and booking tools can load after the page opens, so the audit cannot always confirm they are missing. No Contact Form or No Online Booking then goes into the lead's Worth a look, not verified box. That still gets the lead onto your list, but the problem is not scored until a later check confirms it.

Find businesses whose domain is about to expire

1. Click New Search in the sidebar and fill in Keywords and Location.
2. Click All Agency Types, Web Design / Dev or SEO Agency. The Domain Expiring Soon card appears under all 3.
3. Tick Domain Expiring Soon. Leave the other cards unticked if you only want expiring domains, because a business with any one ticked problem is kept.
4. Click Search (1 problem).

Only businesses whose registry record shows an expiry date within 45 days are kept, and the problem is highlighted in purple in Problems Detected. If the record could not be read, the business is not flagged. If no business in the search is that close to expiry, the results page says No leads matched the selected problems. Try fewer problem filters or a broader location.
