What does the + Pipeline button on a result row do?
+ Pipeline adds that lead to your Pipeline board without opening it, so you can shortlist leads straight from the results table. Once clicked, the button changes to ✓ Pipeline and the lead appears in the Working column of the board.
Steps
- On the results page, look in the Status column of the lead you want.
- Click + Pipeline under its New status pill. The lead panel does not open.
- The button changes to ✓ Pipeline. Open Pipeline in the sidebar to find the lead in the Working column.
Good to know
- The button only shows on leads whose status is New and that are not on the board yet. A lead whose status has moved on to Contacted, Replied, Won or Lost is already on the board, so it has no button.
- The status pill still reads New after you add the lead, because it has not been contacted yet. On the board, those leads sit in the Working column. A lead moves to Contacted only when an email actually goes out or you log a call.
- The board holds deals you are working, not every search result, so leads you never add stay off it. Approving a draft for a lead, sending it an email or getting a reply also puts it on the board automatically.
- Inside the lead panel, + Add To Pipeline does the same thing and then reads ✓ In Pipeline.
- The lead's Outreach Activity records Added to Pipeline, with the time you added it.
