What email do I get when a prospect accepts my proposal?
You get an instant alert headed with the business name, then said yes, and the subject line carries the amount. If the proposal asked for money at acceptance and the prospect paid, the subject says they accepted AND paid. By the time you read it the deal is already marked Won and the work to deliver is already listed on the lead.
The subject line
- When no payment was collected: the subject leads with 🎉 then the business name, for example
🎉 Smith Dental accepted your $1,200 proposal, where the amount is the total of the proposal you published. - When Accept-to-Pay collected the money: the subject leads with 💰 then the business name, for example
💰 Smith Dental accepted AND paid $600, where the amount is what they actually paid, so the deposit when you asked for a deposit and the full price when you asked for the full amount.
What it says inside
The heading is the business name followed by said yes. The paragraph under it names the person who accepted (the name they typed on their audit page), the total of the proposal, and tells you the deal is marked Won, the fulfillment cart is already built, and to call or email them right away while it is hot.
When they paid on the spot, one extra sentence gives the amount paid and says it is in your Stripe account. The money goes to your own connected Stripe account, not to Legiit Leads.
At the bottom is an Open the Deal button, which opens your Pipeline.
When it arrives
It is sent the moment the acceptance goes through, to the email address you sign in with. If the proposal required a payment, nothing is sent until the card payment is confirmed, so a paid acceptance arrives a little later than a free one, once they finish paying and land back on their audit page.
An offer can only be accepted once, so you get this alert once per proposal.
What is already done when you open it
- The lead sits in the Won column of your Pipeline, which is where the button takes you.
- The lines you priced in the proposal are already filled in under Your cart scope in the Fulfillment Bridge on the lead, with the margin on the accepted scope worked out for you.
- The win is added to the Win Wire that every account sees on the Dashboard, showing the amount, the type of business and how long ago it closed. Your name and the prospect's name are never shown. See What is the Win Wire on my Dashboard?
