What happens when a prospect accepts my proposal?
The deal moves to Won on your Pipeline straight away, with the time and the name the prospect typed recorded on the lead. You get an email with an Open the Deal button, and the accepted lines become the deal's fulfillment cart, so you can start on the work from the lead.
On the lead
- The lead's stage changes to Won and it shows in the Won column of your Pipeline.
- Proposal accepted by and the name they typed is added to the lead's Outreach Activity.
- In the Proof Page (public, white-label) section, the proposal editor is replaced by a green banner: ✅ Proposal accepted by the name, the date and time, and the total, then The fulfillment cart is ready below.
- Further down, in the Fulfill on Legiit: sell it, outsource it, keep the margin section, 🎉 Fulfillment Bridge: deal won, now outsource the work appears. See What is the Fulfillment Bridge on a won deal?
Behind the win
- Fulfillment cart. The names of the accepted lines are saved as the work to deliver. They are listed under Work ordered on the before and after delivery page you can share with the client, and they become the client's services if you turn the deal into a client (an Agency Pro and Agency Empire feature).
- Before snapshot. If the lead does not have one yet, a copy of its website audit as it stands now is saved as the "before". The delivery page and Delivery Autopilot compare later checks against it.
Your email
An email goes to the address you sign in with, for example with the subject "🎉 Smith Plumbing accepted your $1,500 proposal". It names the person who accepted, and its Open the Deal button takes you to your Pipeline. When the prospect paid at acceptance, the subject reads "💰 Smith Plumbing accepted AND paid $750" instead, and the email says the money is in your Stripe account. See What email do I get when a prospect accepts my proposal?
In your reports
- The accepted total counts towards the proposals accepted and deals won lines in your monthly ROI receipt email.
- The win is added to the Win Wire on the Dashboard with only the amount and the type of business. No business or agency name is shown. The Win Wire only appears when there have been at least 3 wins across Legiit Leads in the last 30 days.
When payment is required, none of this happens until the prospect has paid and the payment is confirmed on their return to the proof page. See Why does the proof page say the payment was not completed after the prospect paid?
