What happens when a prospect books a call from the proof page?

Booking Calls · Updated September 22, 2026

The time is booked straight away and the prospect sees a Booked for message with the day and time. The lead moves to Replied, a closing brief is written for you, and you and the prospect each get a confirmation email with a calendar invite. About 2 hours before the call you both get a reminder, and yours includes the brief.

What the prospect sees

The booking block changes to a line such as ✓ Booked for Tue, Sep 23 at 2:00 PM. A calendar invite is on its way to followed by the email they entered. The time is in your time zone, as it was in the picker.

What changes in Legiit Leads

  • Pipeline stage. A lead in Working or Contacted, or one not yet on your Pipeline, moves to Replied. A lead already in Replied, Won or Lost stays where it is.
  • Outreach Activity. The lead's trail gets the entry They booked a call for the date and time.
  • Closing brief. If the lead has no call brief yet, the AI writes one in the background. Open the lead and click 📋 Show Call Brief in the Proof Page (public, white-label) section, or find it in Call Mode. If the lead already had a brief, that one is kept; click Refresh Call Brief for a fresh one. See generating an AI call brief.
  • Dashboard. For calls in the next 48 hours, the Today panel shows Call booked with the prospect's name and the time.
  • Follow-ups. Because the lead is now in Replied, Outreach Autopilot (Agency Pro and Agency Empire) will not send the rest of its email sequence.
  • ROI receipt. The call is counted under calls booked in your monthly ROI receipt.

The confirmation emails

  • The prospect gets an email titled Confirmed: call with your name at the day and time. Inside, it gives the call length and your Company Name, if you set one. If they reply to it, the reply goes to your login email.
  • You get an email titled with the business name, booked a call and the time. It names the prospect and their email address and has an Open the Lead button, which opens your Outreach Queue.
  • Both emails carry the same calendar invite, invite.ics, for the booked time and call length. Open it to add the call to your calendar.
  • Times in the emails are in your time zone, with its short name, for example EDT.

For the full wording of each email, see the emails that go out when a prospect books a call.

The reminders

Legiit Leads checks every hour for calls starting in the next 1 to 3 hours and sends each booking one reminder, so it usually arrives about 2 hours before the call.

  • Yours is titled Reminder: call with the business at the time. When the lead has a brief, the title ends (closing brief inside) and the full brief is in the email. Its Open the Lead button opens the lead on your Pipeline.
  • The prospect's is titled Reminder: your call at the time and reminds them who the call is with.

Good to know

  • There is no cancel or reschedule option in Legiit Leads. If the time no longer works, email the prospect yourself. The time stays taken on your booking block and both reminders still go out.
  • None of this happens for calls booked through your own Calendly or Google link. See using your own booking link.
