How do I turn a won deal into a client?

Steps

1. Open the won deal, for example by clicking its card in the Won column of the Pipeline.
2. Scroll down to the Fulfillment Bridge: deal won, now outsource the work box.
3. Near the bottom of that box, under the row of buttons, find Keep them forever and click Promote To Client. The button reads Promoting… while it works.
4. The client's page opens. You can come back to it any time from Clients in the sidebar.

What is copied from the lead

• The business name, website, category, address and city.
• The tracked search and location: the keywords and location of the search that found the lead.
• The client's email: the first email address on the lead.
• Up to 5 competitor names found by that search.
• The services on file: the up to 4 marketplace services Legiit Leads matched to this lead's problems, saved when you clicked Mark Ordered on Legiit, or, if you never did, the line items on the lead's proposal. They show in Services they already buy on the client page, so check them and edit them if they are not what you actually sell this client.

How the new client starts

• Report Autopilot is switched off, so no report reaches your client on its own. You can still send any report yourself with Send To Client on the client page.
• A permanent portal link is created. It is in the Client Portal card on the client page.
• No monthly retainer is set yet.

Nothing is measured at the moment you promote, so the client shows No measurement yet on the Clients page. Click Measure Now on the client page for a first measurement straight away. If you do not, the daily run during the 13:00 UTC hour picks up clients that have no report for the current month yet, a batch at a time, so a new client is measured on one of the runs that follow.

If it does not work

• This is an Agency Pro feature. Upgrade in Settings for Client Command, Outreach Autopilot, White Label, and team seats. Your account is not on Agency Pro or Agency Empire, for example it is on Starter, Agency or a Lifetime plan. Upgrade to either plan to promote deals. If you are on Agency Pro or Agency Empire and still inside the 7 day free trial, promoting works then too.
• Only won deals become clients. The lead is no longer in Won, for example because it was moved to another stage in a different tab. Move it back to Won and try again.
• No Keep them forever box: the box only appears on leads in the Won stage.

Good to know

The Keep them forever box stays on the lead after you promote it, and every click creates another client. Click it once, then use Clients in the sidebar to reach the client.
