What do my sub-accounts get, and how is their billing handled?
A sub-account is a full Legiit Leads workspace under your brand. It opens with your logo, your accent colour and your Powered by Legiit Leads choice already applied, and its monthly search allowance comes from the tier of the plan it bought: 50 searches a month on Basic, 100 a month on Plus. You are its provider, so every billing question belongs to you rather than to Legiit Leads.
What a sub-account gets
Searches, website audits, AI email drafting, proof pages, proposals and the pipeline, in their own workspace with their own leads. Nothing is shared with your workspace and you do not see their leads.
The Agency Pro features (Clients and monthly reports, Outreach Autopilot and Reply Autopilot, team seats, a custom domain, Ring Proof call tracking) are not part of a resold account. Those stay with your own Agency Empire workspace.
Your branding is copied across at the moment the account is created, so their public pages carry your logo and accent colour, not ours. Branding you change later applies to your own pages; a sub-account keeps what it was given when it was set up.
Every search returns up to 60 businesses, on Basic and on Plus alike, before the problem filters and the email filter trim the list. See How many businesses does one search return?
Their monthly allowances
These are the differences between your two tiers.
- A sub-account on a Basic plan gets 50 searches a month.
- A sub-account on a Plus plan gets 100 searches a month.
- A Basic plan also gets 5 map heatmap scans a month, a Plus plan 15.
The count runs from the 1st of the month (UTC) and resets then. When it is used up, a new search is refused with You've used all 50 searches on your plan this month. (or 100 on Plus).
A sub-account's tier is fixed when the account is created. There is no in-app way to move an existing customer from Basic to Plus today, and buying again through your signup link charges them a second time without changing their allowance.
Billing goes through you, not through us
Your customer's subscription lives on your Stripe account, so cancellations, card changes and refunds are all yours to handle.
Under Your Plan in Settings your customer sees one line, Your plan is billed by your provider. Contact them to change or cancel. There is nothing there to buy, switch or cancel, so every plan change and payment problem comes to you.
What happens when one of them stops paying is covered in What happens when one of my SaaS Mode sub-accounts stops paying?
Keeping an eye on the numbers
Once you have at least one sub-account, the SaaS Mode card in Settings shows a totals line: the number of active sub-accounts, then your monthly retail, your monthly wholesale and your monthly margin, worked out from the plans those accounts are on. Only active accounts are counted.
