When and how are partner commissions paid?
On the 1st of each month (UTC), your commission for the month just ended is worked out from your referrals' live subscriptions and written to your Partner Program card as pending. To receive it, email help@legiit.com and tell us where to send the money. Once we have sent it, the entry changes to paid.
How to get your money
- From about 12:00 UTC on the 1st, open Settings and look at the payout history under the figures on the Partner Program card. The entry is written during the 1st, so if it is not there yet, check again later that day.
- If a month shows an amount with pending next to it in amber, email help@legiit.com from the address you sign in with.
- Tell us the PayPal address you want paid, or ask about a Stripe transfer instead.
- We send the money and mark the month paid, and it turns green on your card.
There is no payout details field anywhere in the app, so do not go looking for a PayPal or bank box in Settings. Email is how we collect it, and telling us once is enough for the months that follow.
What gets an entry
- Entries are written on the 1st, for the previous month, and only when your commission for that month was above zero.
- Each month gets one entry. It is a snapshot of your referrals as they stood when the calculation ran, so a referral who had already cancelled is not in it.
- The card shows up to the last 6 months.
Good to know
Payouts are made monthly after review. Refunded and charged back payments do not earn commission. A month is reviewed before it is paid, and a month that should not be paid is cancelled rather than reduced: its entry stays on the card marked void instead of paid.
The Get Paid card in Settings connects Stripe so you can charge your own clients. Your partner commission does not arrive through it.
