How do I set up my own domain for my public pages?

You can serve your public pages from a domain you own, such as reports.youragency.com, instead of the Legiit Leads address. You add one CNAME record at your DNS provider, then claim the domain in Settings. This is an Agency Pro feature, so you need Agency Pro or Agency Empire.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and scroll to the White Label card.
  2. Find the Your own domain section near the bottom of the card.
  3. Read the DNS setup: line under the box. It names the exact address your CNAME record has to point to.
  4. Go to your DNS provider (wherever your domain's records live) and add a CNAME record for the subdomain you want to use, for example reports, pointing at that address.
  5. Come back to Settings, type the full subdomain into the box (it shows reports.youragency.com as a hint) and click Claim Domain. The button reads Checking… while it works.

What you will see

If your DNS record has already spread across the internet, the card says Domain verified. SSL is being issued automatically; your pages go live in a few minutes. and your domain gets a green DNS VERIFIED badge.

If the record is not visible yet, you get Domain saved. Add the DNS record below, then hit Check. and an amber WAITING FOR DNS badge. Nothing is lost. Give the record time, then click Check DNS. When it passes you see DNS verified ✓ and the badge turns to DNS VERIFIED.

The security certificate for your domain is requested automatically the moment verification passes, so there is nothing to buy or upload. Allow a few minutes after that for the address to start serving your pages.

Good to know

  • Pick a subdomain you control, like reports.youragency.com or audit.youragency.com, and make sure nothing else is already using that exact name.
  • Pasting a whole address is fine. Anything before the host name, such as https://, and anything after a slash is stripped for you, and capital letters are lowered.
  • Claim Domain stays greyed out until you have typed at least 4 characters.
