How do I remove or change my custom domain?

Your Own Domain · Updated September 23, 2026Agency Pro

On the White Label card in Settings, click the red Remove beside your domain. The domain and its certificate are dropped from your account straight away, every new link you copy goes back to the Legiit Leads address, and the empty box with Claim Domain comes back so you can set up a different domain.

Steps

  1. Open Settings from the sidebar.
  2. Scroll to the White Label card and the Your own domain section.
  3. Click Remove, the red button beside your domain and its DNS VERIFIED or WAITING FOR DNS badge.
There is no confirmation prompt. The domain is gone the moment you click Remove.

What changes after you remove it

  • Your domain stops serving your pages, and its certificate is dropped with it.
  • Every link you copy from then on uses the Legiit Leads address again: proof pages, market reports, client portals, delivery pages and your branded audit link. The AI puts that address in your emails too.
  • Links you already sent on your own domain stop working. The pages themselves are still there, so open the lead or client, copy the link again, and send the new one.
  • Your logo, your accent colour and your Powered by setting are not touched. They keep showing on the Legiit Leads address.
  • The CNAME record at your DNS host is yours, not ours, so delete it yourself when you no longer need it.

Changing to a different domain

Only one domain is kept per account, and the box for typing a new one only appears when no domain is set. So:

  1. Remove the current domain.
  2. Type the new subdomain, such as reports.youragency.com, and click Claim Domain.
  3. Add a CNAME record for the new subdomain at your DNS host, then come back and click Check DNS.

If you claim the same domain again and its CNAME record is still in place, it usually verifies on the spot and the certificate is reissued within a few minutes.
