Why does the grader say "Grade limit reached for this hour"?
The free grader allows 10 grades an hour from one internet connection. Once you pass that, it answers Grade limit reached for this hour. Try again a little later. and grades nothing until part of that hour has passed. Nothing is wrong with your address or with the site you were checking.
What each red message means
All of these appear in red under the form, below Grade It Free.

That connection has already started 10 grades within a rolling hour. Each grade drops off 60 minutes after it ran, so you do not have to wait a full hour from your last attempt, only until the oldest one ages out. An office network, shared Wi-Fi or a VPN counts as one connection, so everybody on it shares the 10. Checks that visitors run on your branded audit link count against the same allowance for whoever runs them.
Enter a valid website address.
The box needs a real web address, such as business-website.com or https://business-website.com. A single word with no dot, or a phone number, is refused. The Grade It Free button also stays greyed out until you have typed at least 4 characters.
That site's bot protection answered instead of the site, so it cannot be graded honestly. Try again later.
The website is behind a security service that served its own challenge page instead of the real site. There is nothing on that page to check, and Legiit Leads will not guess a grade, so nothing is saved. This is the site's own protection, not a problem with your account. Try again later, or grade a different page on the same domain.
We could not reach that website. Check the address and try again.
The address was accepted but the site did not answer in time, was not found, or failed in some other way. Check the spelling, open the address in a browser tab to confirm it loads, and try again. A site that is genuinely down cannot be graded until it is back.
A message you do not recognise, such as Failed to fetch
The grader could not be reached at all, usually a dropped connection at your end, so the box shows a short message from your browser instead of one of ours. Check your internet connection and click Grade It Free again.
None of these messages use up anything on your account. The grader is free and public, and it never touches your monthly searches.
