What do the Email / CRO Agency problem filters mean?
The Email / CRO Agency button on New Search shows four conversion problems: No Contact Form, No Email Capture, No Online Booking and No Chat Widget. Each one means the live audit looked for that feature on the business's website and did not find it on the pages it checked.
What each filter means
- No Contact Form: no real contact form (a search box, login or lone newsletter field does not count), and no embedded form service or form plugin such as HubSpot, Typeform, Jotform, Google Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms or Gravity Forms. Also under Web Design / Dev.
- No Email Capture: no newsletter signup or email marketing tool (for example Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact or beehiiv), and no newsletter, subscribe or opt-in wording on the pages checked. Only under Email / CRO Agency.
- No Online Booking: no online booking tool such as Calendly, Acuity, Square Appointments, Booksy, Setmore, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Vagaro, Mindbody or Zocdoc. Also under Web Design / Dev.
- No Chat Widget: neither a live chat widget (for example Intercom, Drift, Tawk.to, Tidio, Zendesk or Podium) nor an AI chatbot was found. Also under AI Automation Agency.
Why site builders show these as hints
Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, Duda, GoDaddy, Webflow and Shopify add forms, booking, chat and signups from their own dashboards as the page loads, where the raw code cannot see them. So on these sites a missing feature is held as an unverified hint, not a flagged problem. The same applies on any site built with JavaScript, when only one page could be read, or when a page was too large to read in full. For No Chat Widget, a site that uses Google Tag Manager is treated the same way.
Hints show on the lead under Worth a look, not verified. They still let the lead into your results, but they stay out of your emails, the proof page and the score.
How Google's check settles them
After a search completes, Google's PageSpeed test re-loads up to 25 of your leads in a real browser on a phone, taken in the order they were found. Leads beyond that keep their hints until you run the check yourself. For a lead that has no Google PageSpeed score yet, open the lead from your results and click Get Google's Official Score in the Live Website Audit section to run it yourself.
- Chat: if a chat widget or AI chatbot loads, the problem is cleared. If a full page load shows none, the hint becomes a confirmed No Chat Widget problem.
- Forms, booking and email capture: Google's load can only prove these exist. If an embedded form service, booking tool or email marketing service loads, the finding is cleared. A plain form makes no request, so a quiet load proves nothing and these hints stay hints. Open the site and check before you pitch one.
If Google's load is cut short, none of these four findings change, although the lead still gets its official PageSpeed score. The results page stops refreshing once the search is complete, so reload it to see what the check changed.
