What currency am I billed in?
Your Legiit Leads plan and the Legiit marketplace bill in US dollars (USD), whatever currency you work in. The Currency setting in the Your Agency card in Settings does not change that. It only sets the currency of your own proposals, reports and the payments your clients make to you.
What is always in US dollars
- Your Legiit Leads plan. Plan prices on the sales page and in the Your Plan card in Settings are in dollars, for example $97/mo or $970/yr for Agency.
- Legiit marketplace orders. Once your Legiit account is connected, the Legiit Marketplace card in Settings shows your wallet balance in US$ with the note (Legiit bills in USD).
Change the currency you show your clients
- Click Settings in the sidebar.
- In the Your Agency card, pick your currency from the Currency menu. The choices are USD ($), GBP (£), EUR (€), CAD (CA$) and AUD (A$). New accounts start on USD.
- Click Save Settings at the bottom of the page.
From then on, new proposals, your reports and the payments you take from clients use that currency.
Good to know
- Prices you already typed are not converted. Your My Services prices keep their numbers and simply show the new currency, so check them after a switch.
- Starter services are converted once. When you click Import Starter Services in My Services, the suggested prices are converted from US dollars at a rough rate into the currency selected at that moment, so choose your currency first.
- Published proposals keep their currency. A proposal stays in the currency it was published in, and a prospect who accepts and pays is charged in that currency.
- Stripe warning. If you connected Stripe to get paid and your Stripe account settles in a different currency, a warning under Currency names the currency Stripe settles in. Legiit Leads never changes your currency for you, so pick the one you actually charge clients in. See why Settings says Stripe settles in a different currency.
