What data does Legiit Leads collect about me and my leads, and is it sold?

What is held about you

• Account data: your name, your email address, your password (stored as a hash, never as readable text), and the settings you enter such as your company name and your offer description.
• Billing data: your subscription status and your plan. Payments run through Stripe, so card numbers are never seen or stored by Legiit Leads.
• Usage data: the searches you run, the features you use, and the technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
• Business data you work with: your leads, audits, notes, outreach messages and replies, client records, reports and proof pages.
• Call data: if you use call tracking, the recordings, AI transcripts and classifications of calls routed through tracking numbers you set up.
• Connected service credentials: your mailbox, Twilio and Legiit marketplace credentials, stored encrypted and used only to run the features you connected them to.

Where lead details come from

The businesses a search returns are built from public sources: business names, addresses, public websites and publicly listed contact details. Nothing is bought from a data broker and nothing is invented.

If a business owner wants their publicly listed details taken out of results, they can ask, and it is actioned. The 4. Business Contact Data section of the Privacy Policy at /privacy explains how.

How your data is used

• To provide the service: run your searches, store your pipeline, send the emails you ask for such as digests and result exports, send the outreach you approve through mailboxes you connect, and store the replies routed to your reply capture address.
• To bill you and prevent abuse: quotas, rate limits and fraud prevention.
• To improve the product: only as aggregate, de-identified usage patterns, never as your named data.

The Privacy Policy states it plainly under 2. How We Use It: your personal information is not sold. There are no third-party advertising trackers inside the app either.
