What does Measure Now check, and what is the Evidence Vault?
Measure Now, at the top right of a client's page, takes one full live measurement of that client on the spot: it audits their website, pulls Google's official PageSpeed score, reads their Google star rating and review count, checks their organic rank and whether they are in the map pack for their tracked search, and checks whether Google's AI answer names them. The button reads Measuring… while it runs. Every measurement ever taken is kept in the Evidence Vault further down the same page, which is where each monthly report gets its before and after numbers.
What one measurement checks
- The live website audit, and Google's PageSpeed score for the site, which then settles the problem list for that day.
- The client's Google star rating, review count and most recent reviews.
- Their organic Google position, and whether the map pack for the tracked search names them.
- Whether Google's AI answer for that search mentions the business.
- A client with no website on file skips the site audit and the speed score, and no Google rank is recorded. Their star rating, the map pack check and the AI answer check still run.
Current position
The strip under the client's name is the newest measurement: open problems, Google rating with the review count in brackets, Google rank, map pack as Yes or No, and speed score out of 100. Measured and the date sit on the right. A dash means that check found nothing to record that day.
The Evidence Vault
One row per measurement, newest first, with the columns Taken, Problems, Rating, Rank, Pack, Speed and Map scan. Problems are green at 0 and red above it. The page shows the most recent 36 measurements. The longer the history, the more your monthly reports can prove.
Latest map scan
Under the vault, when the newest measurement included a map scan, you see the 5x5 grid and the line Visible at N of 25 points. A map scan runs alongside the measurement, both when a monthly report is built and when you click Measure Now, for as long as your monthly heatmap scan allowance has room. It comes out of the same allowance as the Scan Their Map Rank scans you run on leads, and it is skipped quietly once that allowance is used up.
Already measured in the last day
One measurement a day per client. Ask for a second one within 20 hours of the last and Legiit Leads answers Already measured in the last day. The vault keeps one measurement per day. Come back the next day, or wait for the monthly run to take the next one for you.
Good to know
The Evidence Vault is for you, not the client. Their portal draws its trend lines and its map scans from the same measurements, but the vault table itself only exists on your client page.
