When do monthly client reports run automatically?

What the automatic run does for each client

1. Takes a fresh measurement, including a map scan.
2. Builds the report by comparing that measurement with the previous one.
3. Emails the report to the client, but only when Report Autopilot: email the monthly report to the client automatically is ticked in Client Setup and a client email is saved.
4. Emails you to say the report is ready.

The email you get

The subject is your client's name followed by the month and report is ready, with and sent on the end when it also went to the client. Inside is the report's summary, a count of verified wins and upsell opportunities, and an Open the Report button that takes you straight to the client's page.

Good to know

• Building one by hand counts. If you click Build This Month's Report yourself, that is the month's report, and the automatic run leaves that client alone until the next calendar month.
• One report per month either way. The run only looks for clients with no report for the current month, so nothing is ever duplicated, and a client it has just tried is left for a few hours before being tried again.
• Active clients are in the run. Every client on your Clients page that is still active is included. A paused or ended client is skipped.
• Each run uses a map scan. The measurement includes a map scan, which comes out of your monthly heatmap scan allowance. Once that allowance is used up the scan is skipped and the report is still built without it. See how many heatmap scans you get.
• Nothing yet? A brand new client's page shows No reports yet. under Monthly Reports until the first report exists. You do not have to wait for the run: build the first one yourself at any time with Build This Month's Report, and it counts as the month's report.
